For me it essential to meet with my clients before they can even decide if they want to use me as their photographer. Why? I need to find a   connection with them, I need to be able to capture their emotions and their personalities not just their faces. Some people are conserved in the way they want me to capture their wedding, while some are open to any suggestion and a very modern approach to wedding     photography. I prefer the latter. My style? Simple, yet interesting. It is important that my clients are relaxed and at ease. As a Photographer   I desire to create lasting memories for my clients, as an Artist I want to awestruck everyone looking at it.

Annemari Ruthven Photography

Hi, I’m Annemari and welcome to my blog. I am a wedding photographer based George, in the Garden Route. Photography is my love and passion (after my gorgeous husband of course) and I am very blessed to have such an amazingly cool job.

I am a very relaxed and easy going kind of person and my style of photography reflects this. I like to be unobtrusive and blend in and I use natural light as much as I can. I don’t really like very formal and stiff, posed photos. I will give you direction though. But don’t be surprised if I ask you to “go stand over there and talk to each other”
