“Hey there! I’m full time professional wedding photojournalist based in Knysna, the heart of the beautiful Garden Route. Covering weddings all across South Africa, I really do enjoy travelling and meeting up with new people and of course engaged and ‘about to get married’ couples.

My ’style’ of shooting is very much behind the scenes, I love capturing the day as it happens, no fancy tricks, no fake poses, just real, raw imagery. I always tell clients, forget about me, enjoy YOUR wedding day, that’s what matters here, and at the end of the day, the images always show it. I try not direct the couple, or get in the way at all, if direction is needed, no problem, but you can expect me to say ‘take a walk, relax and have fun!’

Along with capturing natural moments, I put a lot of thought and effort into image quality, it’s one thing having a great shot, but if you are not able to view it at a decent size without it being sharp or if the color is off, it’s a job half done. There is an ever growing gap between well shot, creative, abstract photography and overnight ‘pro’ rubbish”
