A stunning bride! A great groom! Tearful moms, brave dads, laughing children and superb friends.  These are the moments that weddings are made of.

Our responsibility is to capture these moments – the big, the small, the funny and the sad so you have a true reflection of your wedding day.

Our photography begins with the bride’s preparations and continues through the day to capture both formal and spontaneous moments.  Regardless of which package you choose, there will be plenty of fun bridal party photographs and some gently directed family portraits, and many pictures of friends and family to enjoy.  Should any of my packages still not meet with your requirements, I’d be more than happy to customize something for you.

All your photographs will be edited, to ensure that it’s perfect. You will receive your photographs in colour, black & white and sepia.  Which will also be given to you either on CD or a Slideshow DVD, with your choice of music?

I’m based in Pretoria, Gauteng, but am prepared to travel anywhere in Gauteng.

Vanessa Visser is a passionate photographer with three years of professional photography training at the Vaal Triangle Technikon.

Being a dancer herself, Vanessa has a keen interest in dance photography. Vanessa also does Function,Corporate, Commercial, Wedding  and Press Photography.

An expert at Photoshop, Vanessa has several years of experience in digital editing.

Be it Wedding Photography, Maternal Stages, New Born, Family Memories or just life’s celebrations that you hold dear to your heart. I will take care of these and any other memorable moments you can possibly think of as if it was my own.

I have experienced family members and children in general, to be less; camera shy and more participating when photography gets done were surroundings are familiar and safe to them. Therefore I travel to your home where I setup my studio with various backdrops and lighting techniques.

This, two hours of photography is all about having fun with your family, and I only start the shoot when your children are calm and comfortable. I usually get the kids going with my treasure chest filled with different goodies that get used during shoot. I am also just as aware about your baby’s needs as you are; therefore there is no pressure for mommy and baby. Should your baby need calming, changing or feeding, I simply stop the shoot and continue when everyone is happy again.

All photos of the day get edited and minor touch-ups can be done on your request. This includes eye and teeth brightening and whitening, removal of rashes, wrinkles and stretch marks.

I edit all the photographs, making some black and white, sepia, colour or colour creative.

I am a big supporter of natural poses e.g. Family members playing, caresses kisses and hugs, but I also make use of some props during the shoot for variety.

No longer are the pages limited to 1 to 4 prints behind a mat. Your images are combined into “magazine style” displays that capture the moments, feelings and nuances of your day in an album that is fresh, modern and uniquely yours. The Storybook album features about 100 images selected by you that are then artistically enhanced and arranged using the very latest techniques. Even the 200 to 300 images on contact cd provided for you to choose from have been retouched with an artist’s eye. All this attention to detail results in imagery that compares to the most fashionable bridal magazines. Your artistically enhanced images can also be compiled onto a premium DVD “movie” with the music of your choice playing in the background. (This DVD may be played on any TV with a DVD player.) This incredible level of expertise doesn’t cost you anything extra – it is just part of the service that J & D delivers to our valued clients.
